I am uniquely qualified to answer this with several Lake Run last place finishes to my credit. Running a consistent slow pace is always a key, but I also like
to stop and hydrate about half way. You are welcome to leave Gatorade or Twinkies or whatever at the Jr. High h20 table which is easily accessible by car
race day. We will provide fruit and Gatorade also.

15. Why does the back of the shirt say, "Jesus Loves You and Me?"
...Because Joe Rehbeger didn't want his name on the shirt like last year, even thoush he has put his own money time and effort in the race. Joe is
hoping to make a comeback, but a few days before the race, he is in a rehab center on oxygen with serious health problems. I'm not supposed to mention Vietnam. With any luck he won't see this. Let's just say he was highly decorated. When God takes over a man He doesn't turn the steel in his backbone to putty; He just molds it for His use. That's what happened to Joe. He who is forgiven much loves much. He is sitting in a hospital, on oxygen, awaiting a pacemaker while He is telling me all the plans he has for promoting the kingdom of God in Azle. That's why it says what it says.
